Currently having an incredibly frustrating argument with a friend who says the speed is 116mph, which ive tried to explain is impossible since the tires limit the car to 112mph, every article i read says 112 but im wondering if there's anywhere official by ford.

My Gen 1 with the V-8 did 145 mph easily.

My current Gen 2 with the V-6 does 135 mph easily. After a few high speed blowouts that the TP sensor didn't even have time to alert I switched to KO2's with load range E at 10 ply rating and I've never had a problem. They are a little rougher with the stiffer sidewalls but worth it for the sake of high speed safety.

Just got the confirmation from Ford that my RAPTOR-R is on the assembly line as of 31 May 23. This is two weeks ahead of schedule as per my last notification.

Got my new Raptor R yesterday. Paid the EXACT sticker price of $109,650.00 for it. Did a 100 mph plus run in less than 1/4 mile on a dirt farm road on the way home.

Just love the whine of that supercharger when just cruzing around town.

We head out to the desert today. See what she thinks about hauling ass in the 118 degree heat.

Hello Dragoon,

I've put 200 miles on it as of today, all on pavement in town. Did another quarter mile pedal to the metal pavement run and got it to 110 mph in about five seconds.

Right now my mileage is at 6.1 to the gallon. The first few days it hovered around 5.5 mpg. I hope it's just doing it's break-in thing.

It arrived with a dent in the rear bumper so I made them replace it. It took them seven days and thirty miles of road "test" to do that!

Nothing like the air conditioned front seats for use in the 123 degree heat we have had the past few days.

I did pay exactly $109,650.00 for it. Add the tax and license fees brought it up to a total of $116,674.00.

Never been in anything with the speed and power this truck has other than a jet boat.

Later,

JJ

Yesterday put it out on the Interstate. Easy 100 mph coming off the on ramp. Got her up to 115 before backing down due to Cop Country. Six point three mpg now.

My Raptor R finally came in after waiting 14 months! Has anyone lifted or leveled theirs? Looking to see if the regular raptor kits fit.

What did you do to your V6 Raptor to get it to hit 135? Before I got my Raptor R had 2018. It was limited to 107. What were those high speed blowouts like?

Hi Newport,

I had the Ford dealer in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico disable the speed limiter.

Two were on the left front the other the right front. They happened in an instant, the first thing that I saw was chunks of the side walls flying towards the front of the truck and knew exactly what was happening. Just slowed down and pulled over. That was the end of ever using beadlocks for me. Nothing but a pain in the ass with the pressure sensors and slow leaks not to mention all of those bolts and still needing a tire machine to dismount them.
