The new 2021 Ford Raptor now offers a 37-inch tall tire from the factory as an option. It's not as simple as just adding the bigger tires though. I believe the Raptors that are optioned with the 37-inch tires have slightly different frames, larger rods in the shocks, different spare tire mounting gear, 1-inch of travel loss, and that's just to name a few. So, that raises the question, will the Raptor R even be offered with the 37-inch tire option? And if so, would you choose that size or stick with the standard 35-inch tires?
It will be interesting to see if Ford offers two different versions of the Raptor-R or pushes everyone to 37s, similar to the Bronco Raptor. Even though I love the look of the 37, my main goal is performance, so I would prefer a 35" tall tire.
